“Eno” World Premieres at Sundance

My new documentary about Brian Eno just had its World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and the response has been incredible. Audiences have been inspired by Brian's ideas about creativity, art, and life. And the film community has been buzzing about the potential of the generative software we've created that powers the film. I'm still wrapping my brain around everything that's happened in the past few days.

“Eno” represents a new idea about how films can be made and watched. The film is assembled dynamically by a generative software platform I developed with digital artist Brendan Dawes, drawing from new interviews and footage we shot with Brian and hundreds of hours of unreleased material from his archive. The result is a “real” film that's never the same twice. Every time “Eno” is shown, it's a different movie with different scenes, different music, etc. There’s been tons of press about the film and its potential ramifications on the future of cinema. Read about it in Variety, The Wrap, LA Times, Rolling Stone, Forbes, Screen International, Indiewire and many more.

We’re hitting the road to show the film live in dozens of cities worldwide. Check the schedule, more cities added every week!

Here Comes the Sun!

I'm pleased to release this new photo print of the iconic 1959 Braun TP 1 portable phonograph (arguably Dieter Rams' most revolutionary design) as a benefit for the Dieter and Ingeborg Rams Foundation. It's printed at actual size and features a 7" of The Beatles "Here Comes the Sun". I feel like we could all use a little bit of sunshine these days! Since the photo is printed at 1:1 scale, it’s sort of like hanging an actual TP 1 on your wall.
